I’d pass this by if you’re looking for substance and if you just want an erotic read there are still better out there.moreģ.5 A Vision of Depravity Stars ⭐ I must admit that I am not an avid fan of the whole Omegaverse Romance Genre nor do I claim to be well versed in it. If it was sold as just an erotic short read I’d understand, but this is being sold as a book/novel but for me it needs a plot and likeable characters with connections to be that. ! Their was no connections between characters, it was just sex and that wasn’t written well or appealing, no real plot. If it was sold as j Really not for me and I enjoy alphas and Dom/sub when they are done well, but this just had no chemistry, it read like it was written for men and by a man, the woman was just their to be used, if she doesn’t do anything she’s told they beat her, that isn’t punishment or dominance it’s abuse and the fact she’s constantly referred to as small, weak and lesser. Our heroes embrace their role in claiming and protecting their mate seriously and adore their sweet charge.more Trust that our heroine is a sweet and stubborn brat, and if she gets into a tussle with her mates, it’s so she can test they’re worthy. Prey is a FANTASY (not even vaguely close to the real world) book on the medium-dark scale of omega verse with LOTS of domestic discipline (think hands and belts) and consent driven by the heroine/hero response to pheromones. Publisher’s Note: If you’re looking for a super SWEET omega verse with enthusiastic consent before action, this is NOT the book for you. That I must leave soon is not a decision for today, though, but a decision for tomorrow.įor tonight brings strangers who remind me that I am prey. I am a prize that men war over.įor a year I have hidden in the distant corner of the Empire.īut I am running out of food, and I am running out of options. This is not pity talking, this is an acknowledgment of a fact. That I must leave soon is not a decision for today, though, but a decision for tomorrow. But I am running out of food, and I am running out of options. For a year I have hidden in the distant corner of the Empire. For a period piece too, it's pretty accurate.except for the yo-yo tomahawk.I am prey. Great soundtrack too, it's got hints of Last of the Mohicans vibes. #Prey book 1 movieThe Predator in this movie is big fan service and not the big headed clunky versions in previous sequels, but a deadly, agile, killing machine. It's not the woke movie early reviews says it is, just don't expect oiled body builders wielding machine guns. The bar is pretty low, but I really enjoyed it. Aside from that, it's probably the best Predator sequel to date. Some people will disagree, just my preference. I just like a sequel to stand on its own more. There's a few in this movie that could've been done without. A trend in sequels lately is frequent and in your face callbacks to the original, like in Top Gun: Maverick (great movie, but too much in my opinion). This is something an 8 year old thinks of, tries it, then realizes that their imagination wrote a check that reality can't cash. Criticisms first: The most unbelievable thing about this movie is the yo-yo tomahawk, not the 7 foot alien.
